Margaret Sanders

Margaret Sanders is a rising junior at UConn, studying Environmental Science in CLAS. She hopes to soon join the College of Agriculture, Health, and Natural Resources and study Natural Resources. Margaret became involved with UConn Extension in the summer of 2019, when she worked as an intern for the 4-H Hartford County office. Since then, Margaret has  great passion for the environment, environmental education, and service to others. Margaret ultimately hopes to work with sustainability on a college campus, and attend NEAG for a post undergraduate program. Margaret is a member of Alpha Chi Omega at UConn, and was a FYE Mentor this fall. Margaret is also involved in the UConn Connects Program as a Connects Mentor on campus, and loves helping other students personally and academically.
